In addition to playing the two pre-season friendly fixtures, the Glory squad will also be engaging with the local community in both Mandurah and Bunbury via a wide range of activations and club CEO Anthony Radich is looking forward to what promises to be another Regional Tour to remember.

“It’s fantastic to be heading back down south once again this year,” he said.

“These pre-season regional trips have become a hugely enjoyable annual tradition and represent a key part of our commitment to connect with local communities right across the State.

“I would like to sincerely thank Melbourne Victory for their participation in these two very important pre-season games.

“I would also like to thank the City of Mandurah and City of Bunbury, along with Visit Mandurah and the WA State Government, for their fantastic support in making this trip possible.

“This is the third year in a row that we have played a game at Hay Park and we truly appreciate the continued support and strong bond that we have forged with the City of Bunbury.”

Melbourne Victory Managing Director Caroline Carnegie said the club is looking forward to returning to Western Australia and engaging with regional communities.

“We’re excited to be heading to regional Western Australia for our 2025 pre-season tour and would like to thank the WA State Government, City of Mandurah, City of Bunbury and Perth Glory for making this trip possible,” she said.

“As a Club we see the benefits of a regional strategy, and it is something we are continuing to explore and develop ourselves.

“To be part of Perth Glory’s annual regional WA tour aligns with our values, along with the vision we have of continuing to build our game and our Club through regional communities.

“In 2023, the boys enjoyed our pre-season visit to regional Western Australia and we are looking forward to engaging with the local communities again while we continue our preparations for the upcoming Isuzu UTE A-League season.

“We will be bringing our full squad of players to WA, so we are sure it will be a competitive series.

“Our supporters are always wonderful at turning up to support the Club, wherever we play, and we look forward to seeing them in Mandurah and Bunbury.”

Those sentiments were echoed by Mandurah Mayor Caroline Knight.

“The City of Mandurah is excited to welcome Perth Glory to our city as part of their regional pre-season games,” she said.

“We’re proud to work with Perth Glory to bring elite level sport to Mandurah and to engage our local community and soccer fans with a program of events around the game.

“This is a great opportunity to showcase Mandurah as a wonderful place to live and visit, as well as our sporting facilities and we look forward to welcoming both Perth and Melbourne teams to our city.”

Visit Mandurah General Manager Anita Kane is also looking forward to Glory’s visit.

“Hosting Perth Glory and Melbourne Victory puts Mandurah on the map not just for great sport, but for the unique tourism experiences that make our city one of Western Australia’s favourite holiday destinations,” she said.

“We can’t wait to welcome everyone to experience the best of Mandurah both on and off the field.”

Bunbury Mayor Jaysen Miguel, meanwhile, is excited to welcome Glory back to the city.

“We’re thrilled Perth Glory has chosen to host a pre-season game in Bunbury again, proving our incredible sporting facilities and passionate community are big attractions,” he said.

“A big thank you to the club and players for heading back to Bunbury and providing this unique opportunity for our community.

“We can’t wait to welcome Perth Glory back.”
