David Zdrilic will take charge of Glory for the first time on Tuesday evening (16th July) when the men in purple open their pre-season campaign by taking on Armadale SC at Alfred Skeet Reserve (kick-off at 7pm, admission FREE).
With the 2024 Australia Cup Playoff against Brisbane Roar just a little over two weeks away, the newly-appointed Head Coach will be keen to run the rule over his much-changed squad and build up their match fitness.
Tuesday’s opponents, meanwhile, have enjoyed a solid NPL WA campaign this year, winning five, drawing five and losing five of their 15 games to date.
Their standout performers have included former PGFC Academy midfielder Jayden Leader, striker Pieter Jacobsz who took his goal tally for the year to 12 with a hat-trick against the PGFC Academy First Team last weekend and Amir Ajan who has claimed numerous assists as well as finding the net on six occasions.
The bar and canteen at Alfred Skeet Reserve will be open from 6pm on Tuesday evening and with parking at the venue limited, we strongly recommend arriving early if you can.
