Glory swoop to sign in-demand Kucharski

Perth Glory is delighted to announce that exciting Australian forward Jaiden Kucharski has signed a two-year deal with the club.

The 23-year-old developed a reputation as one of the country’s brightest up-and-coming talents while progressing through the youth ranks at Sydney FC before debuting for the Sky Blues in the 2022 Australia Cup Round of 32.

Since then, the former Australia Under-17 international has racked up 62 A-League appearances, scoring 12 goals and he also helped Sydney FC take out the Australia Cup in 2023.

Kucharski completed an off-season switch to Western United but did not feature for the Victorian side before agreeing to head west and he is now looking forward to opening a new chapter in his career with Glory.

“Coming to Perth was the best option for me,” he said.

“Me knowing the coaches here and the playing style, plus the love around the club and the fanbase, I think it will all suit my game very nicely.

“First of all, my goal is to try and solidify a starting spot and then score as many goals as I can, get some assists and just work hard to help the team succeed and win games.

“This club is massive and I want to help us push for Finals and for silverware.

“If we can make HBF Park a fortress, it’ll be amazing, especially if a lot of fans come out to support us and I’d love to have my name being called out for scoring goals and helping to win games.”

Glory Football Director Stan Lazaridis, meanwhile, believes that securing the versatile attacker’s services represents a genuine coup for the club.

“A host of other A-League sides were chasing Jaiden’s signature, so we’re thrilled that we managed to complete this deal,” he said.

“He is a hugely talented and versatile young forward who is equally dangerous playing out wide or down the middle and has great technical ability.

“Our Head Coach David Zdrilic knows Jaiden well from their time together at Sydney FC and he is a perfect fit for the dynamic style of football David is looking to implement.

“With his pace and flair, he is also exactly the kind of player our Members and fans will love watching and I’m very excited to see him showcase his talents in purple this season and beyond.”

Kucharski will wear the #9 shirt during the 2025/26 Isuzu UTE A-League campaign.

Further squad announcements will be made shortly.
