It was Glory story time earlier this week as the club’s Head Coach Richard Garcia visited St.Andrew’s Grammar School in Dianella as part of Bookweek 2020.
Every year since 1945, the Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) has brought children and books together as part of a nationwide initiative to promote the importance of reading.
Having been introduced by teacher and loyal Glory Member Jodie Jongeling, Garcia read a sea story with an environmental message to the Year 3.2 Class.
This was followed by a Q&A session in which he was quizzed about everything from his playing career to whether he has to boss the players around and his thoughts on spicy chicken wings.
