Perth Glory’s skippers for the 2025/26 were confirmed at this morning’s Season Launch event held at Fraser’s Restaurant in Kings Park.
Adam Taggart and Scott Wootton will be the co-captains for the Glory Men and Isobel Dalton will again lead the Glory Women.
Taggart will share the armband for a second time having also taken on co-captaincy duties with Mark Beevers during the 2023/24 season before leading the team on a solo basis last term.
Central defender Wootton, who brings a wealth of experience having played more than 400 senior games both in the UK and the A-League, joined Glory during the off-season.
Dalton, meanwhile, extends her captaincy into a second season having led from the front last year during a campaign which culminated in the midfielder taking out the club’s greatest individual honour, the Most Glorious Player Award.
Glory’s A-League Men’s campaign gets underway this Saturday when Wellington Phoenix will provide the opposition at HBF Park (kick-off at 6:45pm), with the Women starting their campaign by visiting Western Sydney Wanderers on Friday 31 October (kick-off at 4pm WST).
