The PGFC Academy First Team are set to take on Sorrento FC in Busselton on Saturday as part of Football West’s annual Regional Festival of Football.
Glory’s NPL WA clash with the Gulls has become firmly established as a cornerstone of the hugely-popular event, with the two teams meeting in Kalgoorlie, Geraldton and Bunbury, as well as Busselton, in recent years.
Barnard Park will host this year’s fixture, with kick-off set for 3pm following a game between two local sides.
Glory will conduct an open training session for supporters in Busselton on Friday evening and the the Hyundai NTC NPLWA – Women’s side will also be putting on a clinic for local youngsters on Saturday.
This will be the second time the Regional Festival of Football has been held in Busselton, the previous occasion being in 2019 when Glory won the Regional Cup match 5-2.
The Festival will help to mark the 100th anniversary of Busselton City FC which fields senior men’s and senior women’s teams in the South West Soccer Association and junior sides in the Leeuwin Naturaliste Junior Soccer Association.
