Glory face the ultimate Foxtel Youth League test on Saturday when they take on reigning champions Brisbane Roar at AJ Kelly Park (kick-off at 8.30am WST).
Richard Garcia’s side will head to Queensland searching for a first win of the campaign having gone down 4-2 to Adelaide United in their most recent outing.
Roar, meanwhile, are currently sitting second in Conference A, two points behind leaders Melbourne Victory to whom they lost 3-1 last weekend.
One of Brisbane’s three wins thus far this season came over Glory in Round 4 when Keegan Jelacic bagged two of their four goals at Dorrien Gardens.
Last year’s corresponding fixture also went the way of the Queenslanders, Chris Harold grabbing Glory’s goal in a 2-1 defeat.
Following Saturday’s game, the WA side have a bye and will then round off their season by hosting Melbourne City at Dorrien Gardens on Sunday 26 January (kick-off at 10.30am, admission FREE).
