Glory extends major partnership with Zambrero

Perth Glory is proud to announce that it has agreed a two-year extension to its major partnership with Australia’s largest and best-loved Mexican restaurant chain, Zambrero.

Zambrero, who became a major sponsor for the first time last season, is renowned for its fresh and flavourful Mexican cuisine and has established itself as a leader in the quick-service restaurant industry both domestically and internationally, with the brand now operating 294 restaurants worldwide across Australia, United Kingdom, Ireland, USA and New Zealand.

The franchise is also well renowned for its strong focus on giving back to the community, with Zambrero’s Plate 4 Plate initiative having provided over 80 million meals to people in need through its partnership with the international food relief agency, Rise Against Hunger, as well as The Love Mercy Foundation and locally with partner Foodbank Australia.

For the next two seasons, the Zambrero logo will appear on the sleeve of the playing, training and travel shirts worn by the club’s  A-League Men’s and A-League Women’s teams, as well as featuring on the front of the shorts of its Academy teams.

Under the terms of the partnership, Zambrero will receive a host of other high-profile assets, including on-field and stadium signage, game day sponsorship and activation opportunities.

It will also be the presenting rights partner of the club’s Community Program.

Glory CEO Anthony Radich is thrilled that the partnership has been extended.

“We are delighted to be continuing our association with Zambrero and I’m very grateful for their loyalty and highly-valued support of our football club,” he said.

“Zambrero are a strong, reputable and fast-growing brand who are led by very proud and passionate people.

“As partners, we’re very committed to helping one another explore opportunities which will enable us to continue to grow and add value and we’re really excited by what the future holds for us both.

“Having a partner with such a strong social conscience and a genuine commitment to its local communities is also very important and we’re very proud to be aligned.”

Zambrero Head of Marketing, Jade Clark, is also excited at what lies ahead.

“At Zambrero, we are passionate about community-driven initiatives,” she said.

“This partnership allows us to support Perth Glory FC’s Community Programs, enabling us to create a positive impact locally.

“We have recently opened our 60th restaurant in Western Australia, so are well established in the community there and are looking forward to engaging with the passionate Perth football fans in the upcoming season.”
