Glory and Chicken Treat reunited in iconic principal partnership deal

Perth Glory is delighted to announce that the iconic Chicken Treat logo will return to the front of the club’s A-League Men’s shirts as part of a new principal partnership agreement with the prominent and much-loved WA restaurant chain.

The partnership brings together two proud WA icons with a heritage that stretches back decades.

Founded in 1976 when its first store opened in Midland, Chicken Treat has long been part of the fabric of Western Australia.

The connection to Glory also runs deep, with the brand later owned by the club’s inaugural Chairman and part-owner, Nick Tana and its logo famously appearing on the club’s kits from 1996 to 1998.

Under the terms of the agreement, the hugely-popular Chicken Treat van will return to HBF Park serving up delicious chicken and snacks on matchday and the partnership will also provide a range of other benefits and opportunities for Glory Members and fans.

Glory CEO Ben Leaver is thrilled that the Glory-Chicken Treat partnership is returning in what is a very special year for both parties.

“It is absolutely fantastic to welcome Chicken Treat into the Glory family as both organisations celebrate their respective 30th and 50th anniversaries,” he said.

“Chicken Treat is very much a part of Glory’s heritage, it holds a cherished place in the hearts of many of our Members and fans and I know they will be thrilled that they are back on board for the 2026/27 ALM season.

“This partnership provides another example of our efforts to honour the club’s rich heritage, collaborate with proud WA businesses and engage with the local community.

“We’re looking forward to working closely with Chicken Treat on a number of exciting initiatives and activations over the course of the season.”

Those sentiments were echoed by Chicken Treat CEO Jamie Stewart.

“We are absolutely delighted to partner with Perth Glory as the club’s principal partner for the upcoming season, particularly as Chicken Treat celebrates 50 years as part of the WA story,” he said.

“Perth Glory holds a special place in the sporting landscape of our state, making this partnership the perfect way to mark such an important milestone by bringing together two iconic brands that generations of West Australians have grown up with.

“Having the Chicken Treat logo proudly displayed on the Glory jersey gives us a fantastic platform to connect with fans, support the growth of football in WA and create memorable experiences for the local community.”
