Saturday’s free, Girls For Glory clinic, proudly supported by Gold Road Resources, was a huge success, with 120 girls aged between five and 12 seizing the opportunity to take to the famous nib Stadium turf for a training session alongside the club’s Westfield W-League stars.
The entire W-League squad, including current Matildas Sam Kerr and Eliza Campbell and American quartet Katie Naughton, Alyssa Mautz, Nikki Stanton and Rachel Hill, were all on hand to meet the youngsters and help them develop their skills.
A number of parents later took to social media to say how much their children had enjoyed the event, with Kellie Giles confirming that her daughter had an ‘amazing morning’ and Sammi Lucas revealing that her child was ‘on cloud nine’ following her participation.
