Football Federation Australia (FFA) have today announced a number of changes to the remaining fixtures of the Hyundai A-League 2019/20 season.
Several of Glory’s six regular-season games are impacted, namely the clashes with Wellington Phoenix, Western United and Melbourne Victory.
The dates of the Finals Series have also been altered, as FFA Head of Leagues Greg O’Rourke explained.
“The remainder of the Hyundai A-League 2019/20 Season will now see the 27 matches played over 34 days with the Hyundai A-League 2020 Finals Series moved back a week,” he said.
“We have been able to keep in place 20 of the 27 matches that we announced previously and the Hyundai A-League 2020 Grand Final will now be scheduled for Sunday 30 August.
“I would like to thank the Hyundai A-League clubs, venues and our broadcast partners, in particular FOX SPORTS, for their support in developing this revised match schedule.
“Fans may be able to attend some matches and will also be able to watch on FOX SPORTS, SKY Sport (NZ), ABC TV, Kayo Sports and the MyFootball Live App.
“The scene is now set for an exciting finish to the season.”
As a result of the changes, Glory’s game against Wellington Phoenix will now take place on Wednesday 22 July rather than Thursday 23 July as originally scheduled and the venue will be Bankwest Stadium not Netstrata Jubilee Stadium.
The 5.30pm WST (7.30pm Local) kick-off time remains the same.
Glory’s meeting with Melbourne Victory on Saturday 8 August has been switched from Bankwest Stadium to Netsrata Jubilee Stadium and the kick-off time for the club’s meeting with Western United at Bankwest Stadium on Wednesday 12 August has been changed from 5.30pm WST to 5.35pm WST (7.35pm Local).
The fixtures against Central Coast Mariners, Adelaide United and Western Sydney Wanderers remain unchanged.
