It’s been an off-season in name only for Alex Epakis.
For in addition to shaping his squad for 2023/24 and planning its pre-season program, Glory’s Liberty A-League Head Coach was also recruited by Alen Stajcic to become a key member of the Philippines backroom staff at the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Upon his return to Perth, we caught up with him to discuss what he learned from his international experience, how satisfied he is with the current Glory squad and what further additions we’re likely to see ahead of the new campaign.
