Perth Glory is delighted to confirm that dynamic attacking midfielder Henry Hore is set for a second spell in purple after signing a two-year deal with the club.

Now 26, Hore spent several years in the PGFC Academy as a teenager before departing in 2019 and starring in both the NPL Queensland and NPL Victoria.
Those performances secured him a deal at Brisbane Roar in 2021 and he went on to chalk up over 100 appearances for his hometown club in all competitions, scoring an impressive 20 goals in the process.
While at Brisbane, Glory’s latest new recruit also gained his first experience of playing overseas during a loan spell with Korean top-flight side, Gangwon FC.
He is now excited to be back at Glory and looking forward to embracing a new challenge.
“To be returning is really special,” he said.
“I do feel that I have some unfinished business.
“I kind of did my apprenticeship here and made some great memories and really good lifelong friends.
“It’s great to be back and exciting to see what [Head Coach] Adam Griffiths and [Football Director] Stan Lazaridis are building in terms of the squad.
“HBF Park is one of the best stadiums in the league, I’ve always loved playing there and I can’t wait to be part of the home team there with the fans behind me.
“I’m super-excited for that and to help bring success and silverware back to the club.”
Lazaridis, meanwhile, believes that Hore is an excellent pick-up for the club.
“We’ve been searching for a versatile, left-sided player for some time and Henry certainly fits the bill,” he said.
“He’s technical, can play as an inverted winger, out wide, or as a ten and as his record over the last few season shows, also has an eye for goal.
“He’s no stranger to the club or the city, he really suits the style of football that Griff [Head Coach Adam Griffiths] wants to play and I’m delighted that we managed to get him on board.”
Further squad announcements will be made shortly.
