Perth Glory is delighted to confirm that Caitlin Doeglas and Jenna Onions have signed with the club for the Westfield W-League 2018/19 Season.

Attacking midfielder Doeglas has chalked up 18 appearances in purple over the past three seasons, scoring two goals, while 17-year-old Onions is set for her first Westfield W-League campaign.

The tenacious left-back, who hails from Albany, has been rewarded for her impressive performances with Queens Park and in the NTC Challenge and is relishing the opportunity of taking her game to the next level.

“I’m really excited about the season ahead,” she said. “Pre-season has gone well and I’m enjoyed training with what is a really talented group. I’m confident it’s going to be a great year.”

Those sentiments were echoed by Doeglas whose 2016 goal against Western Sydney remains the second-fastest in Westfield W-League history.

“It’s great to be back on board again,” she said. “It looks as if we’ve got a strong squad which will definitely give us a good chance of having a successful season.”

Head Coach Bobby Despotovski feels that both players are excellent addition to the squad which is now complete.

“Jenna is an exciting young prospect who works really hard and is keen to learn and improve,” he said. “She’ll be looking to adapt to the new level and make her senior debut this year.

“Caitlin is a versatile player who can operate both in midfield and up front and she has plenty of Westfield W-League experience.

“Those are great assets to have given the limited squad size and the fact that we have a lot of younger players in the group this year.”

The complete Perth Glory squad for the Westfield W-League 2018/19 season is as follows:

Eliza Campbell, Morgan Aquino, Jenna Onions, Grace Henry, Sarah Carroll, Kim Carroll, Shannon May, Natasha Rigby, Katie Naughton, Abbey Meakins, Lexie Moreno, Alyssa Mautz, Katie Naughton, Rachel Hill, Nikki Stanton, Jacynta Galabadaarachchi, Leticia McKenna, Sam Kerr (c).

Glory begin their Westfield W-League campaign on Sunday 28 October when they face Brisbane Roar at Suncorp Stadium.

The first home game for Despotovski’s side, meanwhile, is on Saturday 17 November when they face Western Sydney Wanderers at Dorrien Gardens and you can grab your bargain W-League membership HERE.
