Perth Glory is delighted to confirm that central defensive mainstays Naomi Chinnama and Onyinyechi Zogg have re-signed with the club for the 2025/26 Ninja A-League season.
Both players joined Glory last year and were standout performers in their maiden campaigns in purple.
Australia Under-20 and Under-23 international Chinnama started every game, chalking up 2008 minutes and scored her first ever ALW goal in the Round 6 win over Adelaide United.
Zogg, meanwhile, featured in 22 games and consistently displayed the solid defending and composure in possession which previously saw her capped at senior level by Nigeria.
Glory Football Director Stan Lazaridis believes that the pair have formed one of the best central defensive partnerships in the ALW.
“Naomi and Onyi complement each other perfectly and made a really significant contribution to the team last season,” he said.
“With more than 20 games together now under their belts, they will be even more effective this year.
“They will provide a solid defensive platform which will be absolutely vital as we look to push for Finals football.”
Further squad announcements will be made shortly.
