“Thank-you!”
That’s the simple but heartfelt message from Glory CEO Tony Pignata to everyone that has renewed or taken out a new membership to help the club pass the 10,000-members mark for the first time ever.
Glory remain the only Hyundai A-League club to have recorded year-on-year membership growth since 2012 and Pignata feels that this trend serves to illustrate the incredible loyalty of the fan-base.
“I just wanted to personally thank those members who have stayed on board over the years and those who have decided to join us more recently,” he said.
“I was certainly aware that Glory fans were renowned for their passion and loyalty before I arrived at the club and everything that I’ve seen first-hand since then has massively reinforced that reputation.
“Our members and fans, both home and away, have been nothing short of magnificent this year and it’s been a huge thrill to see how much everyone is enjoying the success that both our Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League teams have achieved so far.
“Our objective here at Perth Glory is to win silverware and we have that opportunity this Saturday in the W-League Grand Final against Sydney FC.
“In the A-League, meanwhile, we are determined to keep performing and entertaining the members and fans and ultimately win silverware.
“We are committed to driving Glory on to success across the board and re-establishing ourselves as the benchmark club in the country.”
