A big weekend awaits the three senior PGFC Academy teams as they take to the field in the NPL WA/State League Promotion/Relegation Play-Offs and the Top Four Cup.
The destination for the First Team is Poolmart Mandurah Stadium (Peelwood Reserve) as they take on Mandurah City in the first leg of their NPL WA/State League Promotion/Relegation Play-Off.
The home side finished fourth in the State League, just a point behind third-placed Murdoch University-Melville FC having won 13 of their 22 games.
Top scorer for City was former Celtic and Scotland striker Leigh Griffiths who found the net on nine occasions.
Kick-off on Saturday is at 3pm, with the second leg due to be played at the Sam Kerr Football Centre next midweek (date and kick-off time TBC).
The Academy Under-18s and Under-20s will also be heading south on Saturday as they take on their counterparts from Perth SC in the semi-finals of the Top Four Cup at Fremantle City’s Hilton Park.
The 18s get underway at 10am and the 20s at 12.15pm.
Do get along to support the lads if you can!
