Perth Glory is delighted to confirm that Ben Leaver has been appointed as the club’s new Chief Executive Officer.

Holding an MBA and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Mr Leaver previously worked in banking across the retail and business sectors, was the CEO at the Australian Corporate Treasury Association and consulted to ASX companies on business acumen and leadership.
A lifelong football fan, he first attended games in England with his father and later coached junior football and served on a number of football club committees.
He is now looking forward to combining his professional and personal passions to help drive Perth Glory forward.
“The huge potential that Perth Glory has on and off the field is clear to see and I am relishing the opportunity to bring that to life,” he said.
“A lot of hard work has already been done and now it’s a case of continuing that progress while also bringing some fresh ideas to the table.
“I have a track record of turning businesses around and growing them and to have the opportunity to replicate that success in the football industry makes this the ideal job for me.
“Perth Glory has been a very successful club before and the aim is to bring that success back and crucially, to sustain it.
“My job is to establish a sustainable business model which provides the best possible resources to all our football programs, ensuring that they have the tools they need to succeed.
“I believe that the club has a very bright future and I’m excited about the journey ahead.
“I’m looking forward to meeting as many of our Members and fans as possible in the coming weeks and further immersing myself in the local football community.”
Glory Owner and Chairman Ross Pelligra, meanwhile, is delighted to have Mr Leaver on board.
“Ben is a very experienced operator who combines great business acumen and leadership skills with a deep passion for and extensive knowledge of football,” he said.
“The club is at an exciting point in its history and we are very pleased to have Ben playing a key role in driving it forward.
