Australian Professional Leagues (APL) have today confirmed the start dates for the Liberty A-League Women and Isuzu UTE A-League Men season 2024/25.
The Liberty A-League Women 2024/25 campaign will kick off on the weekend of 1-3 November, with each team set to play 23 regular-season games as the league continues to expand to meet international standards.
22 of those games will be regular home and away fixtures, while one will take place during Unite Round in November.
As per the 2023/24 season, the top six sides will qualify for the Liberty A-League 2025 Finals Series which is set to kick off on 25-27 April, with the Grand Final scheduled for the weekend of 16-18 May.
The Isuzu UTE A-League Men, meanwhile, will begin on the weekend of 18-20 October.
With Auckland FC joining in season 2024/25, the Isuzu UTE A-League Men will expand to a 13-team competition and a 29-round regular season.
The 20th anniversary of the Isuzu UTE A-League Men will see each club play 24 home and away fixtures, plus two additional third match-up fixtures (Unite Round and one other), along with three byes.
As per the 2023/24 season, the top six sides will qualify for the Isuzu UTE A-League 2025 Finals Series which will start on the weekend of 9-11 May, with the Grand Final to be played on the weekend of 30 May – 1 June.
