It’s shaping up to be a Super Saturday for the PGFC Academy with the Under-13s, Under-14s and Under-15s all in Cup Final action, while the three senior sides face an NPL WA trip to Cockburn City.
All three Cup Finals are taking place at Balcatta Etna’s Grindleford Reserve, starting with the Under-13s who are set to take on the host club at 9am.
Next up is the Under-14s who face Perth SC at 10.30am and then at 12.00pm, the Under-15s will meet Joondalup City.
Meanwhile, at Dalmatinac Park, the Under-18s and Under-20s, who have both already secured their respective league titles, will lock horns with Cockburn City at 11am (18s) and 1pm (20s).
And rounding off a full day of Cup and NPL WA action for the Academy sides will be the First Team whose game will get underway at 3pm.
Kenny Lowe’s charges will be looking to bounce back from Monday evening’s home defeat at the hands of Perth RedStar.
Despite ending up with nine men after Chris Donnell and Judd Macdougall both saw red, Kenny Lowe’s men showed great heart to launch a second-half fightback before eventually going down 4-3.
Lucas Rossi bagged two of the goals after Josh Anasmo claimed the opener.
Glory will be up against a Cockburn side which currently sits one place above them in the table following a 3-0 win over Balcatta Etna last time out.
