With 28 goals in just 58 appearances, Shane Smeltz is undoubtedly one of the deadliest strikers in Glory history.
Now a highly-successful player agent, he returned to HBF Park for the first time since his playing days earlier this season when the club signed one of his clients, Jaiden Kucharski.
And there was no way we were going to miss the opportunity to have a chat to the New Zealand international about his time in purple and in particular, the key role he played in helping the club reach its first ever A-League Grand Final in 2012.
