The start of the new season always feels that little bit closer when the fixtures are released and there is certainly plenty for Glory Members and fans to get excited about ahead of the 2023/24 ISUZU UTE A-League and Liberty A-League campaigns!
For the first time in ALW history, each team will play 22 games and Round One is a stand-alone fixture, with the Glory Women welcoming last season’s Grand Finalists Western United to Macedonia Park on Saturday 14 October.
The Glory Men, under new Head Coach Alen Stajcic, then swing into action the following Sunday (22nd October) in a blockbuster ALW/ALM double-header at HBF Park when Newcastle Jets will provide the opposition.
Both sides will feature in another double-header on New Year’s Eve, this time in Gosford against Central Coast Mariners.

The first of Glory Men’s 13 home games is the aforementioned home ALW/ALM double-header on Sunday 22 October and after a Round 2 Distance Derby trip to Wellington, the men in purple will return to Perth to host last year’s Champions, Central Coast Mariners, on Saturday 4 November.
A sequence of three away games are on the agenda as November gives way to December and either side of Christmas, Glory will play twice at HBF Park as well as travelling to Newcastle Jets and Central Coast for the traditional New Year’s Eve clash with the Mariners.
2024 opens with two mouth-watering homes games as traditional heavyweights Melbourne Victory and Sydney FC head west and January is completed by back-to-back away fixtures in New South Wales against Western Sydney Wanderers and Macarthur FC.
Three of February’s games are at home, versus Melbourne City, Brisbane Roar and Wellington Phoenix, while March throws up an even split of two away away matches in Victoria and two HBF Park dates with Newcastle Jets (9th) and Western Sydney Wanderers (16th).
And that pattern is repeated in April, the final month of the regular season, as Adelaide United and Western United visit Perth and Glory travel to Melbourne City and in the last round, Sydney FC.

There is also plenty for Glory Members and fans to like about our Women’s season, with Alex Epakis’ side playing four of their first five games at Macedonia Park.
First up is a home clash with last season’s surprise packets, Western United and that is followed by the eagerly-anticipated ALW/ALM double-header against Newcastle Jets at HBF Park a week later.
November opens with what has traditionally been a tricky trip to Canberra United and then it’s back to Perth for consecutive Saturday evening home games on the 11th and 12th against Adelaide United and Melbourne Victory respectively.
The first ALW Distance Derby of the 2023/24 season completes the second month of the season and the Glory Women will follow their trip to Wellington by visiting Melbourne City.
The final home game before Christmas is set to be a cracker as reigning Premiers and Champions Sydney FC head west on Sunday 17 December and 2023 is rounded out by a visit to Western United and an away ALW/ALM double-header against Central Coast Mariners on New Year’s Eve.
January sees a return to a more regular home/away/home/away schedule as Glory’s home meetings with Western Sydney Wanderers and Brisbane Roar on Sunday 7th and Saturday 20th are punctuated by away dates at Melbourne Victory and Adelaide United.
Heading into the home straight, Glory face a trip to Sydney FC on Saturday 3 February ahead of consecutive home games against Canberra United and the Mariners to round out the month.
Three of the club’s final five fixtures are on the road, but there is a big Friday evening home showdown with Wellington Phoenix to look forward to, along with what could be a pivotal match-up against Melbourne City at Macedonia Park on the last day of the regular season, Sunday 31 March.
