Tando Velaphi didn’t need to be encouraged to jump into a chair when he met the WA Powerchair Football Team at their new Loftus Recreation Centre base last week.
In fact, it took some persuasion to actually get him back out!
The Glory ‘keeper was keen to learn from the WA players, several of whom will be representing the State at next week’s National Championships in Brisbane.
His visit was part of Glory’s ongoing association with the team which began last year and will again see them donning the club’s colours when they take part in the annual Club Championships in January.
