Rhys Williams is refusing to put a limit on what Perth Glory can achieve in the Hyundai A-League 2016/17 Season after their clinical win over Western Sydney Wanderers on Saturday night.
Inspired by some more Diego Castro magic, Glory scored late in each half to register a well-deserved 2-0 win thanks to goals from Chris Harold and Joel Chianese.

And with Melbourne City and Brisbane Roar losing earlier in round 21, Kenny Lowe’s side have jumped up to third spot heading into the last six games of the regular season.
“We take each game as it comes. We’re up into third which is great and we want to look up now,” said Williams when asked how far Glory can go this season.
“We’ve got a great bunch of boys here and we work hard for each other. Let’s see how far we can go.
“…To win games and be in third spot, it’s a nice feeling.”
Williams started the match in the heart of defence but was shifted into midfield during the first half after an injury to youngster Brandon Wilson.
And the Caltex Socceroo was superb for the home side, getting forward on numerous occasions while dominating the midfield duel alongside skipper Rostyn Griffiths.
“It’s a little strange. Training at centre-half all week then having to move into midfield, against these boys [Wanderers] who knock it around, I felt like I was chasing shadows,” Williams admitted.
“But playing in there with Rostyn [Griffiths] and the boys behind us, it made it a lot easier.
He added: “It’s nice to get a home win and another clean sheet.
“We move forward now…Fair play to [Wanderers] they put up a great fight. We’re just happy to come away with the three points.”
Glory has the chance to consolidate their top three spot next weekend when they head to Auckland for the Distance Derby clash with Wellington Phoenix at QBE Stadium on Saturday.
