The 2026 Regional Roadie Series ended with honours even after Adelaide United avenged last weekend’s 2-0 defeat in Bunbury by downing Glory 3-1 in Northam on Saturday afternoon.

In front of a bumper crowd of over 1000 at Henry Street Oval, Glory found themselves trailing inside the opening three minutes as Harry Crawford fired an angled shot past Daniel Solsky.
The Reds then doubled their lead early in the second half, courtesy of a neat finish from Brady Burkitt, only for Tadi Kuzamba to head in a Lachie Jackson cross to halve the deficit moments later.
But Adelaide restored their two-goal advantage almost immediately courtesy of Perth local Ajak Riak and despite applying some concerted late pressure, Glory were unable to force their way back into the game.
On a beautiful spring afternoon in the Wheatbelt, many fans were still streaming into the venue when the visitors hit the front, Crawford getting away down the right and making light of a narrow angle to blast home.
It took Glory some time to recover from that early setback, Henri Knight eventually drawing a fingertip save from Joshua Smits with a stinging drive from outside the box.
Juan Muniz duly replied in kind for United, the Spaniard’s effort cannoning back out off the post and that proved to be the final meaningful action of a somewhat disjointed first half.
The game really burst into life after the restart, however, with Burkitt seizing upon a misplaced backpass to double his side’s lead.
Substitute Luke Duzel then blazed a penalty over the bar after Cher Deng was penalised for handball and Glory made the most of that let-off by pulling one back on the hour-mark.
Tom Lawrence’s initial free-kick was headed against the bar by Kuzamba before Lachie Jackson hooked the ball back into the box and this time the Glory defender nodded into the top corner.
A potential fightback from the hosts briefly looked to be on the cards, but it was nipped in the bud when Adelaide scored their third just one minute later, Riak meeting a Joey Garuccio cross and forcing home from close range.
Glory proceeded to dominate the final 20 minutes, with a deflected shot from Kuzamba flashing just wide and Jaiden Kucharski drawing a smart save from substitute ‘keeper Ethan Cox.
Adelaide dug deep to hold the men in purple at bay, however, thereby tying up a keenly-contested series which provided both sides with valuable hit-outs ahead of the A-League season and drew enthusiastic crowds in both Bunbury and Northam.
