Perth Glory is delighted to confirm that Stephen Peters has signed a two-year contract extension as the club’s A-Leagues Women’s Head Coach.

Peters has been in charge of Glory Women for the past two seasons having previously enjoyed great success in the New South Wales National Premier League with Macarthur Rams whom he guided to consecutive NSW NPL championships in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
Glory came within four points of securing Finals football last term and Peters is determined to go one better in 2026/27.
“To be given the task of coaching this club in the first instance was a huge honour,” he said, “and to then be going into a third season in charge fills me with immense pride.
“For the club to see the progression of the team and put the faith in me to continue to carry this team forward is something I don’t take lightly and I want to repay that faith with a top-six finish.
“It’s what the club, the Members and fans deserve.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank [Glory Owner and Chairman] Ross Pelligra, [Vice-Chairman] Jason Bontempo, [Football Director] Stan Lazaridis and of course the management team.”
Lazaridis, meanwhile, is confident that Peters can guide his squad into the Finals.
“We’ve seen a strong level of progress since Stephen was appointed in 2024,” he said, “and we look forward to seeing that continue over the next two years.
“Our playing group continues to develop and improve under his leadership and having come so close last year, the target now is to go that step further and secure Finals football.
“We are excited to have Stephen at the helm again and to see what the new ALW season will bring.”
Further ALW announcement will be made shortly.
