There’s undeniably a strong movie script element to Adam Taggart’s football journey.
The childhood Glory fan who watched iconic strikers such as Bobby Despotovski and Damien Mori from the terraces at Perth Oval before becoming the club skipper and duly breaking its all-time A-Leagues goalscoring record.
Just add in some crowd noise, an epic training montage, slo-mo goal clips and an uplifting soundtrack and it’s basically job done.
But what makes the 32-year-old tick?
He opened up regarding his career, the art of goalscoring and life off the pitch when we caught up with him for an episode of the Glory Stories Podcast last year – click HERE to check it out if you missed it, or to listen/watch again.
And look out for a new mini-series of the Glory Stories Podcast dropping soon as we mark the club’s 30th anniversary by catching up with some of the most influential figures in its history.
