Perth Glory is proud to welcome Boom Logistics on board as a major sponsor of its A-Leagues Women’s team and Coaching Staff for the 2024/25 season.
Operating from 17 depots around the country, six of which are located in Western Australia, Boom Logistics provides lifting solutions as part of a complete project service which includes cranes, travel towers, access equipment, heavy haulage and engineering services.
Glory CEO Anthony Radich believes that the partnership is a perfect fit for both parties.
“Boom Logistics are a highly-successful and progressive organisation who are also passionate about supporting women’s sport and it is great to have them joining the Glory family this season,” he said.
“As a club, we share their values of teamwork, developing people and working together to achieve our best.
“We would like to sincerely thank them for their support which will have a meaningful and valuable impact upon our Women’s program.
“We look forward to working with the team from Boom and building this partnership for this season and beyond.”
Boom Logistics CEO Ben Pieyre, meanwhile, said the decision to partner with Perth Glory’s Women’s team exemplified the company’s commitment to promoting women in sport and healthy living in the broader community.
“We are really proud to be partnering with the Perth Glory Women’s team,” he said.
“This is an exciting opportunity that we hope will also give us a chance to amplify the voices of players and coaching staff.
“It is our hope that increased platforming of players will encourage more girls and young women to engage in sport, especially football.
Mr Pieyre said he also hoped improved awareness of the business through the partnership would help highlight opportunities for women in the resources, industrial and renewables industries and create a pathway for more women to enter the crane and lifting industry.
“Aside from our traditional recruitment mechanisms,” he said, “we are really looking at innovative ways to increase diversity across our workforce, including encouraging more high school and university graduates and more women to look at a career in the crane and lifting services industry.
“We look forward to supporting Perth Glory players and coaches through this season and we will be cheering the players on from the sidelines.”
Glory’s Ninja A-League Season gets underway on Sunday when the women in purple visit reigning Premiers Melbourne City.
