Glory’s members and supporters will get their first look at the class of 2017-18 when Kenny Lowe’s side take on prominent PS4 National Premier League WA clubs Inglewood United and Perth SC.

Lowe has vowed to use all of his fit and available players over the course of the two pre-season friendly games which means Scott Neville and Mitch Nichols will each start their second spells with the club, while fellow-off-season recruit Jacob Poscoliero will don the famous purple for the first time.

The fixtures will form a key part of the club’s preparations for the Westfield FFA Cup Round of 32 tie against Heidelberg United which is set to take place on Tuesday 1 August.

And with both opponents currently very much in the hunt for the NPL title, Lowe is expecting two tough workouts for his charges.

“These games provide us with the perfect opportunity to get some game time into the lads,” he said.

“The two sides we’ll be up against are both in good form and will provide us with exactly the kind of test we need at this stage ahead of the trip to Heidelberg.

“Hopefully plenty of our members and fans will come along to support us and it’ll be a good chance for them to see some of our off-season recruits in action.”
