Perth Glory FC can confirm reserve goal keeper Jack Duncan will spend two weeks in Europe to trial with Danish Superliga club Randers FC.
Duncan has been invited to trial and play in a pre-season game with Randers FC between the 10th and 24th January 2015.
21-year old Perth born Duncan, has played seven Hyundai A-League games (Perth Glory FC 6, Newcastle Jets 1) and has represented Australia at U-20 and U-23 level and is excited about his looming Scandinavian stint.
“As a footballer you want to play at the highest possible level and hopefully this may lead to that goal” Duncan said.
“Playing in Denmark is an opportunity not to be missed and playing in Europe has been a long term goal for me” he said.
“My aim is to play regular football and improve my game and feel this is an ideal time to seize the moment. I’d like to thank coach Kenny Lowe and club CEO Jason Brewer in supporting me in this adventure” he added.
Randers was formed in 2003 after the merger of six local clubs and is the winner of the 2006 Danish Cup.
Perth sits four points at the top of the Hyundai A-League ladder and will continue its quest for championship glory on January 25, when it hosts Melbourne Victory.
