Ben Williams will take charge of today’s Round 17 Hyundai A-League match between Adelaide United and Perth Glory FC at Coopers Stadium.
The Canberra born referee made his debut in the first round of the A-League in its inaugural 2005/06 season.
Williams is the most experienced referee in the League, having officiated in 133 A-League games.
The last time he blew the whistle for a Glory match was in Round four at nib Stadium after late 2 goals from super-sub Jamie Maclaren earned Glory a 2-1 win over Newcastle Jets.
Williams returns to the A-League having refereed 3 matches in the Asian Cup, including the Quarter Final match between Iran and Iraq.
In total, Williams has officiated four A-League matches this season and has issued 18 yellow cards and one red card along the way.
Glory, face Adelaide United at Coopers Stadium this Sunday, February 15.
Kick-off is 4.30pm local time (2pm WST)
Glory return to nib Stadium on Saturday, February 28 against Hyundai A-League champions Brisbane Roar.
