At the conclusion of our upcoming three home games in December we will have approached the half way point for home games for this season.
We thought it was timely therefore that we inform you of some of the more frequently asked questions and issues that have arisen to date but to also seek your feedback on your stadium experience thus far, all in an effort to continuously improve.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. Bench Covers
Will the bench covers be installed at each home game day?
In accordance with FFA policy if there is any rain forecast one hour prior to Gates Open on game day, then the bench covers must be utilised. Once that determination has been made by the Match Commissioner then the benches must remain in place for the duration of the game and will not be removed even if rain does not eventuate. Members in West Gold or West Gold Plus seating who are affected can opt to swap their seats to Platinum at no charge for the rest of the season should they wish to do so.
2. Member Packs
For members who haven’t redeemed their Member Pack Vouchers as yet, you can do so at the Membership Counter at Gate 1 for all remaining home games. Alternatively, you can also redeem the packs at the club office at 20 Oxford Close in West Leederville or by postage. Postage instructions can be found on your voucher.
3. Spectator Safety & Behaviour
The FFA and the Perth Glory Football Club take their responsibility around spectator safety and behaviour very seriously. The FFA’s policy and process is designed and enforced to protect the safety and enjoyment of its fans.
The FFA will refuse entry to persons whom they are satisfied with will not respect the safety and enjoyment of other patrons.
Before issuing a Banned Notice, an FFA security committee reviews credible information provided by law enforcement, stadium security, FFA’s security consultants and clubs. This information includes CCTV, photos and other forms of evidence.
The length of each ban reflects the seriousness of the conduct and the risk that it poses to the safety and welfare of fans, and reinforces the message that anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.
If a banned person can prove that they did not engage in the relevant behaviour the ban will not apply. If a banned person can bring the evidence that proves this to FFA through the club, the ban will be lifted.
4. Cloaking
There are a list of prohibited items that cannot be brought into nib Stadium. These items include umbrellas, selfie sticks, motor cycle helmets, prams etc. Cloaking services are available at Gate 1 for these items at each game day. 5. Replacement game
The home game against Melbourne Victory that was originally scheduled for November 8 has been re- scheduled to Wednesday the December 16 with kick-off at 6pm. This was due to Perth Glory successfully making the Westfield FFA Cup Final on November 7th.
6. Newcastle St – City of Perth Parking
This season, Loton Park carpark is unavailable to Perth Glory for its sponsors, corporate members, suppliers and staff. Parking for such stakeholders has been relocated to the City of Perth (CPP) Parking on Newcastle Street. Unfortunately this means that this parking area is no longer available to the general public or members three hours prior to kick off. Members are still able to park at the CPP parking at Royal Street at the $5 rate on game days. Please see link for parking details HERE
7. Forgot card /Lost card
For members who have lost their membership card you can pick up a day pass at the Membership Counter at Gate 1 on game day. A $10 fee applies for the printing of a new membership card.
